Raviteja Kajal Tapse starrer Veera marches towards 100 days after completing 50 days successfully
‘Veera’ though began with received mixed reviews, proved its stamina strongly in box office collections and undeniably declared as a big hit in 2011.

As per the sources available with NBTV, ‘Veera’, produced by Ganesh Indukuri under Sanvi Productions banner starring Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja, Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee in the lead cast has successfully completed 50 days in 60 centres. This action packed entertainer directed by Ramesh Varma was adequately successful in providing a decent hit to hero Ravi Teja after his RGV project ‘Dongala Mutha’s disappointment.

Hero Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s brilliant performance in two diverse shades, along with female leads Kajal and Tapasee duo's sensational glamour have truly worked wonders at movie success. Meanwhile, a hot buzz is making rounds in the Tollywood that hero Ravi Teja and director Puri Jagannath are likely to rope-up once again. This time, they are planning to join hands for their earlier 2002 blockbuster film ‘idiot’ sequel. As all know, Puri’s ‘idiot’ with Ravi Teja and Rakshita in the lead, created a whopping sensation on it’s release with catchy numbers, gripping script and wonderful performances and in whole, making ‘idiot’ trend setter blockbuster film. Now once again Puri-Ravi’s successful combo is hoping to recreate that yester magic with this sequel, which is titled as 'Idiot 2'.
Speaking to the media about the sequel, director Puri Jagannath says "During 2002 time, people found a curious aspect in film ‘idiot’, who was focused as a kind of trendsetter. Keeping in view of its amazing success, now I am planning for its sequel with Ravi Teja. But this time, I make sure that even the hero characterization will be a trendsetter. Having Ravi Teja in the lead, more about this commercial entertainer sequel will be announced shortly” c
Interestingly, in addition to this sequel film ‘idiot 2’ direction Puri Jagannath will also be producing this movie under his ‘Vaishno Academy’ banner. Additionally, Puri is also planning for a sequel for his recent Bollywood hit ‘Bbuddah...Hoga Tera Baap’, which starred B-town’s Big B Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
